FAQs

How long does a Lullaby Visit take?

Lullaby Visits prioritize individualized care for both babies and parents, recognizing that the needs of each family can vary greatly. While the duration of these visits may fluctuate based on specific circumstances and requirements, the average duration is typically around 60 minutes.

I am due in 6 months with my first baby.  When should I book a package?

Limiting the number of newborns accepted per month at Lullaby Visits demonstrates a commitment to providing personalized and attentive care to each family. By managing the client load in this way, the program can maintain high standards and ensure that every family receives the support and attention they deserve. Recommending booking at least 4 months before the due date allows expectant parents to plan ahead and secure their spot, ensuring they have access to the services when they need them most. This proactive approach contributes to a smoother and more organized experience for both the families and the program.

How will I communicate with Katie after delivery?

After delivery, Katie prefers to receive the initial notification of the baby's arrival through a text or email. Following this, all further communication will be conducted through a range of channels, including telephone, email, text, or in-person. This multi-channel approach ensures flexibility and convenience, allowing the parents to stay connected and receive support from Lullaby Visits in the manner that best suits their needs and preferences.

How do I pay for my package?

Lullaby Visits provides convenient payment options for their clients, accepting payments through both Venmo and credit cards.

How do I prepare for my first visit with my new baby?

Lullaby Visits understands the mix of emotions that come with having a baby, from excitement to feeling overwhelmed. That's why they aim to make the experience as stress-free as possible. One of the benefits of a Lullaby Visit is that families don't even have to leave their homes, ensuring both baby and parents can be comfortable. Katie has a set of educational topics to cover during each visit, helping to guide communication and provide valuable information to new parents.

To make the most of the visit, Katie recommends that parents write down any specific questions they have about their new baby beforehand. And if something slips their mind during the visit, no need to worry! Parents have the option to reach out to Katie via text, call, or email afterward for any additional questions or concerns. This personalized support ensures that families receive the assistance and guidance they need, even after the visit has concluded.

What happens if my baby needs to stay in the hospital longer than expected?

Lullaby Visits demonstrates compassion and understanding by acknowledging that unforeseen circumstances can arise, particularly concerning the health of the baby or the mother. In such cases where a Lullaby Visit cannot proceed due to these circumstances, they offer a full refund. This policy reflects their commitment to prioritizing the well-being of both the family and the caregiver, ensuring that families feel supported during challenging times and that financial concerns are alleviated.
